Your Financial Milestones from 2024 and What’s Ahead in 2025

Your January Newsletter: Important milestones we helped our clients prepare for and celebrate this past year

Hi Reader,

Happy 2025 from Arnold & Mote!

Before we say a final goodbye to 2024, and in keeping with tradition for our inaugural newsletter of a new year, we wanted to first recognize the reasons our clients had a lot to be grateful for last year. Here are a few important milestones we helped our clients prepare for and celebrate this past year:

Arnold & Mote Client Milestones for 2024

  • Retirements: 8 clients clocked out for the final time in 2024.
  • Charitable Giving: Our clients donated $349,189 via QCDs (Qualified Charitable Distributions) and DAFs (Donor Advised Funds) to support the organizations they care about, and reduce their tax liability.
  • Additions to the Family: 5 clients welcomed new children or grandchildren to their family.
  • Tax Planning: 17 households performed Roth Conversions.
  • RMDs: 9 clients had their first year with required minimum distributions from their retirement accounts.
  • New Home: 4 households will start 2024 off in a new home than where they were a year ago.

As your dedicated financial advisor, it is both an honor and a pleasure to embark on another year of collaboration, growth, and financial success together.

Regards,

The Arnold & Mote Team

US News and World Report - 7 Low-Risk Investments for Retirees

To keep pace with inflation and grow your wealth over time, it’s important to include investments with higher growth potential, like stocks, in your portfolio throughout your retirement. At the same time, having more stable, lower-risk investments reduces volatility and can help you keep your sanity in a turbulent market.

We were interviewed, along with other financial advisors, for this article about options retirees have for the lower risk portion of their portfolio.
